April TBR

These are the books that I am hoping to get to in April. After reading several adult mystery/thriller darker books last month, I decided that I was going to go with some more face paced books this month and I chose all young adult books…

Breathing Underwater by Alex Flinn. This is about a teenager girl who is in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend.

By Your Side by Kasie West. This is about a girl who gets locked in the library for the weekend and soon realizes that she isn’t the only one locked in. There is also a boy there who has a reputation as being the bad boy.

Fairest by Marissa Meyer. This is the story of Queen Levana. I have been wanting to read it even though I have heard very mixed reviews about in on YouTube.

Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. This is about a teenage girl who commits suicide and leaves behind tapes for people who had contributed to her decision. I saw the trailer for the Netflix show and it looks so good but I decided to read the book before I watch the show.

Caraval by Stephanie Garber. I have been hearing so many incredible things about this book so I had to pick it up. It’s about this traveling game type of thing that happens once a year and the audience always takes part in it. It follows two sisters, Scarlett and Tella as they take part in the game and one of the sisters is kidnapped and the object of the game is to find her before it’s over.

So those are the books that I am hoping to read this month and I am so excited to dive into every one of them.

Keep reading…Lola

Ooh I didn’t realise 13 Reasons Why was a book, I’d only heard of the series. I’ll have to have a look for it! Nice post 😊

    • Thanks. I’ve known about the book for a few years but was never really interested in reading it but I saw the trailer for the show and decided to pick it up. I had a couple issues with it but overall I thought it was really good.
